Hi, I’m Natalie with Eminence Organic Skin
Care, and welcome back to “In The Mix.”
Well today, we’re answering your
questions. So, we had two fabulous
questions come in from Instagram,
so please keep those questions coming
because we love answering them.
The first one…forgive me, I can’t,
I’m just going to spell it, okay,
if that’s all right?
I read it @nasatl. I’m not even
going to try because I may
butcher it, and then the second one came
in from @marymaxim, @maximson [SP], again,
butchering everything here.
Both of these questions that came in were
around how to reduce dark spots.
So, from our first question,
it’s, “What’s your best serum for dark
spots?” And then the second question that
came is, “I want to work on fading
my dark spots.” To be honest,
you just want to get in and get it done as
fast as you possibly can and the best way
to do this is through serums or targeted
treatments. Serums tend to be where we
zone in and really focus on a particular
concern or condition you may
be experiencing, in this case,
around minimizing the appearance
of dark spots. So I will recommend
three that work incredibly well.
One is I like to bring up our Citrus and
Kale Potent C+E Serum.
The combined efforts here is going to be
really good for actually helping your skin
be more preventative as well,
so if you are feeling that more could come
or you’re thinking at home right now,
“Well, I may not have dark spots but this
is something that I am
concerned that could happen,”
it’s going to be an excellent
piece to put into your
home care routine.
And as with all serums,
just apply it on a dry skin right before
you put on your day and
nighttime moisturizers. So,
that is one way to go and an excellent
piece to add to your home care routine.
Let’s get a little bit deeper now,
even more specific, is that we have our
Bright Skin Licorice Root Booster-Serum.
So again, this is a booster serum and what
we do with these types of products is that
you can either bump up your existing home
care products, so that would be like maybe
your Bright Skin moisturizer or another
Eminence moisturizer that you’re using,
or you can add a couple of drops right
into your masks. So when you’re doing your
weekly routines, you can jump-start it or
give it a little bit of a boost by adding
a few drops here, or you can also
use it directly solely on a clean,
dry skin prior to applying additional
moisture care, and remembering that
in the daytime, you still have to wear
your sunscreen, but you can definitely use
it in the evening. So,
a little bit more of a potent,
more focused serum that is going to help
minimize the appearance of the dark spots.
Now, what if you just have a little
section that you really want to work on?
This may be more of a cluster or a little
patch of dark spot that you may see
on your skin, this is really great because
then you can go with more of a
target-based care. So, this is
going to have a little bit more
of a cream-type texture versus a serum,
and you’re going to see it’s very easy
to apply, so giving you more of a
moisturizing care, but you only need
to apply it on the area that you’re
trying to treat or minimize faster.
So, both the serum and the targeted
treatment have ingredients that just work
a little bit harder for you so these would
probably be my first lineup if you really
look at minimizing something stronger.
But also thinking about what if you just
want to prevent too, right,
if you know this may be in your future,
this is where that C+E Serum
will come in real handy for you.
So, I really hope this answers your
questions that you have asked today.
I super appreciate that you sent them in
because having dark spots on the skin is a
real concern for many of us out there and
this is a really great way to add key
products into your home care routine to
minimize the appearance of those
dark spots. So again, I’m Natalie
with Eminence Organic Skin
Care for another “In The Mix.”
And thank you again for your
Instagram questions, also we see
some coming in from Facebook,
keep them on coming. We’re happy
to answer them anytime we can,
and I’ll catch you next time. See you.
